McDonald's All-American Games nominee and selection process
Cinco Ranch senior guard Aniya’ Foy was the only Katy ISD women’s representative.
Foy, ranked 46th nationally in the Class of 2025 by ESPN, is a Kansas State signee. The 6-foot guard is averaging 24.9 points, seven rebounds and 3.5 steals per game this season, shooting 52% from the field.
Foy is already the Cougars’ all-time leading scorer, surpassing Stefanie Gilbreath earlier this season, and has 2,325 career points and counting. Gilbreath was named a McDonald’s All-American in 2006.
Foy also holds the program’s single-game scoring mark with 42 points against Fort Bend Travis on Nov. 12. She has Cinco Ranch in line for its first district championship since 2009.
Jordan named two of its stars as nominees in seniors Jaden Holt and Elijah Black.
Holt is averaging 14.8 points, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals per game. He set the Warriors’ all-time single-game scoring mark with 38 points against Paetow on Jan. 4.
In 95 career games at Jordan, Holt is averaging 13.7 points, 3.7 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.
Black is averaging 11.3 points, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game. In 88 career games at Jordan, Black is averaging 10 points, 3.8 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game.
Holt and Black are the catalysts for the No. 8 state-ranked Warriors, who are 24-2 this season. Jordan is in line for its first district championship in just its fourth year of varsity play.
