Football: Week 10 wrap, Week 11 lookahead

District 19-6A playoff field set heading into final week of regular season

As the high school football regular season comes to a close this week, the playoff picture is set in District 19-6A.

Katy has secured at least a share of the district title, and can clinch it outright Friday with a win over Mayde Creek. The Tigers and Paetow will be Division I representatives in the Class 6A playoff bracket.

For the Panthers, it is their first playoff appearance since 2021. Their seven total wins is as many as the last two seasons combined.

Jordan will be the top seed out of 19-6A on the Division II side of the playoff bracket. The Warriors will be joined in DII by Tompkins, which is making its seventh consecutive postseason appearance.
